Two die as three-storey building collapses in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Two people were killed while one went missing when a three-storey building collapsed in Malir’s Jaffar Tayyar Society on Monday. Locals fear that about 10 people are still under the debris. Citizens and Rescue officials are busy in the operation to rescue the people. Heavy machinery has been moved to the site to remove the debris. Sources said that about six families were residing in the building. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident, ordering the commissioner to reach the spot and supervise the rescue operation. He said that human lives should be saved at all costs. The CM also sought a detailed report on the matter.
