MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – Two sisters from Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK), who were arrested by Indian troops after they mistakenly crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, reached homeland on Monday.

The Indian authorities handed over Sana Zubair and Laiba Zubair to Pakistan at Titrinote Crossing Point.

Earlier in a statement, Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry stated that two sisters Sana and Laiba, both belonging to Abbaspur Jura village in Poonch district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, had mistakenly entered the Indian occupied territory.

He said that efforts were being made for their early repatriation. Earlier this year, Pakistan had handed over two Indian citizens to their authorities after they accidentally crossed the Line of Control.
