Two killed in hand grenade attack in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Two people were killed and three others injured in a hand grenade attack in Kharadar area on Thursday. The police said that the attack was carried out when traders of Cloth Market did not give the extortion. After the incident, traders staged a demonstration on MA Jinnah Road. Markets were closed in Old Area. They demanded that they should be provided protection. The police said that extortionists are working abroad. The protesters dispersed on assurance by the police that they would be provided security. Later, MA Jinnah Road was opened for traffic.
