Two killed over matrimonial dispute

MANDI BAHAUDDIN (92 News) – A woman and her daughter were shot dead over a matrimonial dispute in Mandi Bahauddin’s Phalia area on Wednesday. According to police, Bilal Ahsan, resident of Paharianwali broke into the house of mosque imam Qari Zia Rasool and opened indiscriminate firing, killing Zia’s wife namely Faizana, Muneer, 45, and their daughter Ume Hafsa, 25, on the spot. Ume Hafsa was getting married after two days, while the accused Bilal Ahsan wanted to marry her but her parents didn’t agree. The accused managed to flee the spot.
