LAHORE (92 News) – Two lawyers were killed when an exchange of fire erupted between two rival groups following a heated argument during court proceedings in the provincial capital on Tuesday. As per details, the incident took place when the lawyers came out of the courtroom after appearing in a property case before a sessions judge. After hearing the lawyers exchanged harsh words which led to a physical brawl between them. Before the police intervened a lawyer namely Kashif took out a pistol and opened fire killing Nadeem and Awais on the spot. Following the incident, police sealed the entry and exit routes of the Sessions Court and arrested the accused Kashif Rajpoot. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and sought report from the CCPO Lahore. Meanwhile, Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice also sought report from the registrar. On the other hand, the lawyers community expressed sadness over poor security in the Sessions Court premises.
