Two Levies officials guarding polio team martyred in Tank

TANK (92 News) - Two Levies officials guarding a polio team were martyred by unknown attackers in a Katchi Abadi, Gomal.

The martyred officials are Constable Nisar and Pir Rehman of Jandola police station.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a polio team in which two policemen embraced martyrdom.

They said that the sacrifices of security officers and health workers during the national polio drive would not go in vain. "The elements carrying out such abhorrent attacks were the enemies of the future of the country’s children," they said, while paying tribute to the sacrifices of law enforcement agencies.

They prayed for the departed souls and expressed their deep sympathy with the bereaved families.
