Two minor girls murdered, one of them raped in Mailsi

MAILSI (92 News) – Two minor girls were brutally murdered by their relatives near Adda Jahanwala, Mailsi on Friday. The victims were identified as seven-year-old Sania and six-year-old Fauzia. The girls had gone from their house to learn the Holy Quran. The accused strangled them and threw the bodies in a field. According to the preliminary report, Sania was raped before being strangled. The police have arrested two nominated accused, while one of them has confessed to the crime. The police said that the accused who is a relative of the victims were arrested on the pointation of another girl. Vehari DPO Akhtar Farooq told 92 News that the accused had killed the girls in fear of being disclosed by them. He said that another girl had seen the accused when he was carrying the girls. The DPO said that they were investigating the case from different angles. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Multan RPO. He said that justice will be provided to the victim family.
