Four more children die in Thar, death toll reaches 154

THARPARKAR (92 News) – Two more children have died this week after an outbreak of waterborne and food shortage diseases hit Tharparkar, raising the death toll to 154.

As per details, hundreds of children are under treatment in different hospitals as lack of government response and health care facilities have triggered a wave of deaths in Thar.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had formed a committee last month comprising of Information Adviser Maula Bux Chandio and Food Minister Nasir Shah to look into the situation of Thar but to no avail.
