Two mortar shells fired in Pakistani area from Afghanistan, confirms FO
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Two mortar shells were fired in Pakistani area from Afghanistan near Torkham border on Wednesday, confirmed by the Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson.
In a statement, the FO spokesperson said that no casualty was reported during the incident.
The spokesperson also said the Torkham gate has been closed for security purposes and the matter is being coordinated with Afghan authorities. However, the gate is likely to be opened shortly.
