Two MQM activists sentenced to 14 years

KARACHI (92 News) – A local court in Karachi has on Tuesday sentenced two Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activists to a collective 14 years in jail for possessing explosive material and illegal weapons.

The MQM workers namely Naeem alias Cockroach and Farhan alias Tida appeared before the local court, in which the Investigation Officer said that the accused were arrested in 2013 during a raid in Korangi area and weapons and explosive material was recovered from their possession at the time of their arrest.

The Investigation Officer said that the both the accused belonged to MQM Orangi Sector.

The respected judge sentences Naeem alias Cockroach and Farhan alias Tida to 14 years imprisonment after founding them guilty of the charges for possessing weapons and explosive material.
