Two officials, as many prisoners injured in Gujrat jail clash
GUJRAT (92 News) – Two officials and as many prisoners were injured in a clash in District Jail, Gujrat on Thursday.
Prisoners resorted to vandalism and set different things on fire. They chanted slogans against corrupt officers.
A heavy contingent of police from 30 stations reached outside the jail.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the IG Jails.
He ordered action against the people responsible for the clash.
