RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Two soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom due to Indian unprovoked firing along the line of control (LoC) in Dewa Sector. According to the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), they have been identified as Noorul Hassan and Waseem Ali. The ISPR said India violated the ceasefire agreement and opened fire from across the border in the Diyva sector. The ISPR further said that Pakistan Army responded and targeted those posts which initiated fire. There are reports of substantial damage to the Indian posts and men and material. There have been 2333 ceasefire violations by India troops during the current year. A day earlier, a Pakistani soldier was martyred in firing from across the Afghanistan border at a check post on Bajaur sector, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a Pakistani check post on Bajaur sector was targeted from Afghanistan side last night, resulting in the martyrdom of sepoy Sabir Shah. The ISPR stated that the issue of border management has been raised multiple times with Afghanistan in order to stop Kabul government for curbing the use of its soil for attacks against Pakistan. Earlier, a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier had martyred and two sustained injuries in firing from across the Afghan border in Bin Shahi area of Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). One FC soldier had martyred in the cross-border firing from Afghanistan side and two others were injured. Mortar and heavy weapons were used in the firing from across the Afghan border, added ISPR.
