KARACHI (92 News) – Two policemen were gunned down in Karachi’s Orangi Town on Monday morning. According to the reports, two policemen were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire at them in Karachi’s Korangi area. the incident occurred in Mominabad. The police say they were targeted while going for duty. Police relayed the firing incident took place in Korangi No 4 area. Both the police personnel were on their way to report for duty when they were fired at by unknown armed men. Upon being informed of the incident, a police team reached the site and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital. The SSP West said four spent bullet casings of a 9mm pistol were recovered from the scene. The killed policemen, who were posted at Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) Mominabad, were identified as Allah Dita and Ahmed Ali. Two policemen martyred in Karachi firing
Earlier, Unidentified gunmen shot dead two policemen in Karachi’s Defence area. Dr Seemi Jamali, the hospital spokesman, said that the policemen had been deployed for the security of Dr Abdul Aziz. The martyred cops have been identified as Ishtiaq and Majid. The SSP South said that the incident is an outcome of a personal feud.
