Two Pakistani-Spanish sisters killed for honour in Gujrat

GUJRAT (92 News) - Two sisters, who wanted to tie the knot of their choice after getting divorce from their husbands, were shot dead by their relatives at Nothia Villahe in the Galyana police limits on Friday night.

Arooj, 20, and Aneesa, 24, were brought to Pakistan fraudulently by their relatives from Spain two weeks ago.

The police have registered a case against nine people, including their brother and uncle, under sections of murder, attempt to murder and others. However, the accused managed to flee.

The police are conducting raids to arrested the accused.
