Two soldiers among five martyred, four terrorists killed in Bajaur

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Five people, including two soldiers, were martyred while four terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire in Bloro, Bajaur District on Monday.

According to the ISPR, terrorists fired on security forces that initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. As a result, four terrorists were killed. Weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces. During an intense exchange of fire, Naib Subedar lshtiaq (age 44 years, resident of Nowshera) and Sepoy Kamran (age 21 years, resident of Orakzai), after having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom. Due to terrorists’ fire, innocent civilians Asmat, Ilham and Bahadur were also martyred.

The Pakistan Army is determined to eliminating the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of brave soldiers and innocent citizens further strengthen its resolve.
