Two soldiers embrace martyrdom in North Waziristan IED attack

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – An improvised explosive device attack on security forces left two soldiers injured, while two embraced martyrdom. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two soldiers embraced martyrdom while as many were injured in an IED attack on Security Forces' vehicle near Miran Shah in North Waziristan district. “IED attack on Security Forces vehicle as troops were conducting routine patrolling in South East of Miranshah, North Waziristan,” the ISPR said. The soldiers who embraced martyrdom were identified as Subedar Aziz and Lance Naik Mushtaq. Earlier, six jawans, including a major, were martyred when FC South vehicle was targeted with a remote controlled improvised explosive device (IED). According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the vehicle was returning from patrolling in Kech’s Buleda area, 14 kms from Pak-Iran Border, to check possible routes used by terrorists in the mountainous terrain of Makran. The martyred jawans include Major Nadeem, Naik Jamshed, Lance Naik Khizar Hayat, Lance Naik Taimoor, Sepoy Nadeem and Sepoy Sajid.
