Two soldiers martyred, as many terrorists killed in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Two soldiers were martyred and as many terrorists were killed in South Waziristan District on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in Angoor Adda area. Troops effectively engaged the terrorist’s location. Resultantly, two terrorists got killed. Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists. The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

During an intense exchange of fire, Major Shujaat Hussain (age 30 years, resident of Toba Tek Singh) and Sepoy Imran Khan (age 27 years, resident of Naseerabad), after having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

The area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. The Pakistan Army is determined to eliminating menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave officers and soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
