Two soldiers martyred, three terrorists killed in attack on military convoy

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Two soldiers were martyred and three terrorists killed in an attack on a military convoy in Hassankhel, Peshawar District on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, Pakistani troops initiated a prompt response, effectively engaged and killed three terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

During an intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Pannah of Pak Army (age 30 years, resident of Jaffarabad District) and Sepoy Shamasullah of Frontier Constabulary (age 36 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
