Two terrorists killed in Nowshera operation

NOWSHERA (92 News) - Two terrorists were killed during an operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Misri Banda area on Thursday.

During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the security officials and lobbed hand grenades on them. The security officials retaliated and killed two terrorists. Three terrorists managed to escape in darkness.

The killed terrorists were identified as Muhammad Zeeshan and Salman alias Amarti. The terrorists were wanted by the CTD.

Meanwhile, the CTD foiled a terrorist plan in the twin cities. The CTD has arrested two most wanted terrorists identified as Hayatullah and Wakeel Khan who belonged to Haji Faqeer Group. During the investigation, it was revealed that the terrorists wanted to attack the Rawalpindi Police Lines.
