Two wanted terrorists arrested in Mansehra operation: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Two wanted terrorists with three accomplices were arrested in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mansehra on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. The ISPR said that the IBO – on based of Operation Raddul Fasaad – was conducted by security forces. It also said that the arrestees included two important wanted terrorists and three accomplices. The ISPR said that they were involved in sabotage activities and they were said to be involved in targeting police and military convoys, target killing of law enforcement personnel and an attack on an Imambargah.
Raddul Fasaad: weapons cache, explosives recovered during IBO in Sibi
According to the ISPR, cache of weapons and explosives which had been concealed underground was recovered from an abandoned terrorist hideout. The recovery includes guns of various types and calibers, rocket launchers, heavy and light machine guns and ammunition.
Three terrorists killed in IBO conducted in Gulkuch
On Feb 5, three terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Gulkuch area adjacent to South Waziristan. According to the ISPR, the IBO was launched under the Operation Raddul Fasaad. During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the security forces and tried to flee towards the mountains. The security forces also retaliated, killing three terrorists. Sub-machine guns, hand-grenades, communication equipment and local currency were also recovered in the operation.
FC Balochistan kills two in IBO, recover arms: ISPR
Earlier, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan killed two terrorists during in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) at suspected hideouts of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in his statement. According to ISPR, the raids were conducted in Kalat, Kharan and Maiwand areas of Balochistan under the Operation Raddul Fassad. Large quantity of arms and ammunition including sub-machine-guns, improvised explosive devices, grenades, mines, RPG-7 rockets and communication equipment were also recovered during the operations, the military’s media wing said in its statement. On last Friday, at least one terrorist was killed by security forces during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan.
