Ulema have rejected US report on religious freedom: Tahir Ashrafi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Inter-faith Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that all Ulema had rejected the US report on religious freedom.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that Pakistan is protector of all religions. "Why do the people levelling allegations look at India?" he said.

He said that they had strengthen Pakistan to avoid foreign attacks. "The US wants to deteriorate Pak-China relations. However, such efforts will not affect our relations," he added.

The SAPM said that Pakistan is the biggest nuclear power in the Islamic world and seventh in the world. "The Pak Army and the nation defeated terrorism," he said.
