Unannounced loadshedding continues in Karachi on Eid

KARACHI (92 News) – Tall claims of providing uninterrupted electricity to Karachiites again proved false as the load shedding continued even on Eid and creating water shortage in the city. Despite the announcements made by the K-Electric, several areas of the city including Liaqatabad, Federal-B area, Nazimabad, Korangi, Orangi Town and Shah Faisal Colony faced loadshedding. Meanwhile, the water supply to the entire city was suspended due to breakdown at Pipri Pumping Station and Dhabeji Pumping Station. Water Board spokesperson said that despite tall claims of K-Electric, they city faces power breakdown, suspending water supply.
