Undemocratic tactics knocked out opposition in 2020: Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that undemocratic tactics had knocked out the opposition in 2020.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the alliance formed to topple the government fell prey to its interests and narrative.

He said that the PDM would have been dissolved after the PPP decision had the opposition some moral courage. "The PML-N MNAs who tendered their resignations backtracked when they were called for confirmation," he added.

In a tweet, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that coronavirus had destroyed the health and economies.

"Pakistan amicably dealt with the challenge under the leadership of Imran Khan. The government gave importance to health and economy. The strategy of smart lockdown was acknowledged at the international level," he maintained.
