Under construction bridge collapses in Jehlum

JEHLUM (92 News) – An under construction bridge in Jehlum’s Nogran area has collapsed today (Sunday). The construction of the bridge was underway for the last eight months but the local administration failed to complete it in time. The construction of the bridge was in final stages but it collapsed before completion. The locals alleged that substandard material was used in the construction. The project was to be completed at the cost Rs 350 million, while the foundation stone of the flyover was laid in 2014.
