LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has announced that the monthly ration will be given to the unemployed due to coronavirus on Sunday. Chaudhry Sarwar said that the list of unemployed persons from different fields is being prepared. “Monthly ration packages will be given to the victims along with the donators,” he added. The Punjab governor said that 20 kg flour, 10 kg rice, 20 liters milk and 10 kg sugar will also be provided in the ration package. While five kg pulses, five packets of tea and two dozen soaps will also be available in the ration package. “Until the situation improves, we will continue to help the poor,” he expressed his commitment. “Corona victims’ families will also receive a ration package on a monthly basis. Not only Lahore but other cities, along with welfare organizations will provide monthly rations to the unemployed.” Telemedicine Helpline Centre Chaudhry Sarwar will inaugurate the Governor Punjab Telemedicine Helpline Centre on Monday, March 23. In the first phase, more than 150 doctors will be available to guide people about coronavirus hazards and its prevention at the call centre round-the-clock. In a media statement issued by Governor’s House here on Sunday, he said that political and religious parties as well as nation’s resolve to get united to control coronavirus was highly commendable.
