Uninterrupted democracy imperative for country's progress: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has on Friday said that uninterrupted democracy is imperative for achieving progress and prosperity in the country. Addressing a passing out ceremony of the police force, he said that Pakistan sacrificed many lives in war against terrorism. The minister said that unity is dire need of the hour to tackle challenge of anti-state elements. Ahsan Iqbal went on to say that armed forces, police and law enforcement agencies played a crucial role in the war against terror. He said modern technology is indispensable to deal with the crimes on scientific basis.
