Unknown assailants open fire at Naseem Vicky, Agha Majid

FAISALABAD (92 News) – Some unknown people opened fire at stage actors Naseem Vicky and Agha Majid.

According to Police spokesperson, firing took place on January 20. “Both actors are safe. FIR had been reported after receiving the news of incident. Faisalabad CPO Ghulam Mubashir Maikan had meeting with Naseem Vicky on the instructions of Punjab IG Rao Sardar Ali Khan. All possible steps are being taken to arrest unknown suspects,” it added.

Faisalabad CPO said that teams have been made to find and arrest accused. “Actors are precious assets of our country. Their security is our first priority,” he maintained.

Meanwhile, Talking to 92 News Naseem Vicky said that he does not have enmity with anyone. “I was along with Agha Majid and contractor of theater. Car tires have been punctured and other damages have been done to car. We all are safe. We do not know why this firing was happened. We are artists and we earn from it,” he added.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of firing on the car of artist Naseem Vicky and Agha Majid in Faisalabad and sought a report from the Faisalabad RPO, terming it highly condemnable incident.

He also directed to arrest the accused involved in this incident at the earliest.
