Unknown gunmen kill SI in Quetta

QUETTA (92 News) – Some unidentified armed assailants have on Friday shot dead a police Sub-Inspector in the provincial capital. According to police, some armed motorcyclists opened firing in Zarghoonabad area of Quetta, injuring Sub-Inspector Zafar Wazir. He was rushed to hospital for medical assistance, where he succumbed to injuries. The security forces cordoned off the area and started search for the arrested of the accused. It is pertinent here to mention that the deceased SI was brother of former SHO martyred Abdul Khaliq Wazir. On the other hand, Security Forces have on Friday apprehended nine suspects during combing operation in the provincial capital.
