Unluckily electricity is expensive in Pakistan, says PM Imran Khan

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that unluckily electricity is expensive in Pakistan.

Addressing Pakistan-Tajikistan Business Forum on Thursday, he said that Pakistan wants early completion of the CASA-1000 project with Tajikistan. "We are striving to facilitate the investors," he maintained.

The prime minister said that bilateral trade will benefit both countries. "Peace in Afghanistan is vital for the region," he added.

He said that attended by 67 Pakistani and 150 Tajik companies, the forum holds great significance in strengthening trade ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

PM Imran Khan said that Pak-Tajik trade is vital for peace in Afghanistan so that transportation may improve. "We hope that peace will be established in Afghanistan after a dispute for several years. We will try our best for the establishment of the joint government of Pashtun and Tajik communities," he added.
