UNSC's meeting a big victory for Pakistan and occupied Kashmir: Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed the convening of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting over plight of occupied territory of Kashmir today a big victory for Pakistan and Kashmir. "The Kashmir dispute has caught global attention after 50 years," the minister said in a statement. Qureshi said the meeting convened by five countries would discuss the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir in detail, adding the meeting has actually disturbed India.

Latest meeting in FO today

An important meeting has been convened at the Foreign Office (FO) today to discuss unilateral illegal decisions take by Modi government in IoK and sensitive situation in the valley. Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will chair the meeting to devise further line of action on diplomatic front to counter Indian moves. Furthermore the first meeting of the special committee on occupied Kashmir will meet on coming Saturday.
