Up to 12-hour power shutdown makes life a hell in sweltering heat

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Up to 12-hour power shutdown in the sweltering heat has made the life a hell across the country.

With the mercury crossing 39 degree Celsius, the power shutdown duration has increased. The long power shutdown has badly affected business activities in several cities, including Gujranwala, Sialkot and Narowal.

Students are also facing difficulties due to the long power shutdown. On the other hand, people have restricted themselves in their homes.

The Met Office has predicted rain in several parts of the country on Sunday.

Citizens have appealed to the government to ensure availability of electricity in the scorching heat.
