Up to 16-hour unannounced power shutdown makes life a hell across country

KARACHI (92 News) - Up to 16-hour loadshedding has made the life a hell across the country.

Citizens said that they were facing acute water shortage due to unannounced loadshedding going on in several areas. In Karachi, K-Electric has even ignored the orders of the federal and provincial government.

Students had to take their papers in the sweltering heat due to the power shutdown. In Nawabshah and Mirpur Khas, up to 14-hour shutdown is being observed while the duration is 16 hours in Qambar.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the shutdown duration is eight hours in urban areas while it is 18 hours in rural areas. In Lahore, the shutdown duration is 4-8 hours.
