COAS General Raheel Sharif, US Commander General Nicholson discuss regional security

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces Afghanistan General John Nicholson called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters on Monday. A spokesman for the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the two generals had discussed regional security during their meeting, with particular emphasis on coordination along Pak-Afghan border and reconciliation process in Afghanistan. General John Nicholson lauded the successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security.  Meanwhile, Argentinian Ambassador in Pakistan Rodolfo J Martin Saravia called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters for a farewell call. The visiting dignitary appreciated successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security. The COAS appreciated the dignitary’s efforts in fostering Pak-Argentine relations during his 12-year tenure as ambassador.
