US delegation meets Sartaj Aziz to mend ties

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A high level delegation led by Adviser to US president Peter Lavoy has on Friday held a meeting Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad. During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral relations and regional situation were discussed. Adviser to US president Peter Lavoy led the delegation which comprised among others, US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Olson. Pakistan's foreign secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry and US Ambassador to Pakistan, David Hale were also present at the meeting. Taking a strong position against US drone strike in Balochistan, Pakistan declared US drone strike against the country’s sovereignty. Pakistan said that the US should clear its policy regarding Afghan peace talks, while evidence of Indian involvement in Pakistan was also shown to US delegation. The US delegation was also shown confession video of Indian spy agent Kulbhushan Singh.
