US dollar increases by Rs 1.75 to Rs 191.77 in interbank market

KARACHI (92 News) - The US dollar continued to soar in the interbank market on Thursday, increasing by Rs 1.75 to Rs 191.77.

In the open market, dollar is being sold at Rs 194. Owing to an increase in the dollar rate, foreign loans have swelled by billions of rupees.

On the other hand , 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Market witnessed an increase of 60 points after remaining negative throughout the day. It closed at 42,924. Owing to plunging of the stock market, investors are worried.

In the international market, the gold rate was reduced by US$3.60 per ounce, silver by 29 cent per ounce, platinum by US$28 per ounce and copper by 15 cent per gram.

Meanwhile, the oil prices have reduced by one percent.
