US embassy’s car hits vehicle, kills woman in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – US Embassy car hit a vehicle at Faisal Chowk in Islamabad on Sunday, killing a woman and injuring four. According to the reports, a woman killed and four others wounded when their vehicle hit by an over-speeding car of US Embassy. The deceased woman is identified as Nadia Bibi, however, the identification of the other persons was not yet known. The incident took place at Faisal Chowk of Islamabad where the car belonging to US Embassy violated the traffic signal and ploughed into another vehicle, killing at least one woman on the spot while another girl in critical condition. Meanwhile, while taking immediate action over the incident, police officials have arrested the Pakistani driver of the US Embassy’s vehicle and lodged a case in Margala police station. The dead body and wounded people were shifted to PIMS.
