US hopes free, transparent elections in Pakistan

WASHINGTON (92 News) – US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said that the US hoped free and transparent election in Pakistan. Addressing to a press briefing, Nauert said that currently the US did not decide to send global observers for monitoring the upcoming elections in Pakistan. She further said that Pakistan recently passed electoral reforms law and we hope that the new comprehensive legal framework will be helpful in the transfer of power to the new democratic government.
