US lauds Pakistan role in Afghan peace process

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and US Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken discussed bilateral relations in Washington on Tuesday. As per details, Tariq Fatemi said that Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif wants good relations with all countries including its neighbors. Tony Blinken appreciated the role of Pakistan in reconciliation process between Afghan government and Taliban. He assured that his country will play its due role in maintaining peace in Afghanistan.
