US National Security Adviser Susan Rice calls on COAS General Raheel Sharif

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Ambassador Susan Rice, US National Security Adviser, on Monday visited GHQ and called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including security situation, in the region were discussed.

Ambassador Susan Rice acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army's sincere efforts and sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

Both dignitaries also recognized the continued need for close coordination for ensuring peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region.
