Court extents interim bail of Asif Ali Zardari in US properties case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The accountability court has extended the interim bail of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari till December 14 in reference pertaining to his properties in the United States.

During the hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted a reply on the bail application of Asif Ali Zardari.

According to the NAB, arrest warrants for Asif Ali Zardari have not been issued. He is not wanted in the ongoing NAB investigation in case related to his properties in the United States. Neither the NAB summoned Asif Ali Zardari nor asked him to appear before the investigation team, it stated. 

The court asked the NAB and Farooq H Naik, counsel for Asif Zardari, to submit their replies on December 14.
