US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo likely to visit Pakistan on Sep 6

WASHINGTON (92 News) – US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is likely to visit Pakistan on September 5 for consultations with Prime Minister Imran Khan. The US secretary of state will reach Islamabad in the first week of September, while he will visit India before Pakistan. Pompeo and PM Khan are expected to discuss Pak-US relations and matters of mutual interest during their meeting. Afghan peace process may also be the part of their discussion. On September 6, top state department official of the US President Donald Trump’s administration, will depart for New Delhi.
