US Special Representative for Afghanistan & Pakistan Daniel Feldman meets COAS General Raheel Sharif

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – US Special Representative for Afghanistan & Pakistan (SRAP) Ambassador Daniel F Feldman met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Saturday. In a statement issued by the ISPR, Ambassador Daniel F Feldman visited the Army Headquarters and met the Army Chief Gen Rahgeel Sharif. During the meeting US Special Representative and Army Chief Raheel Sharif discussed regional security and stability. Ambassador Daniel F Feldman appreciated Pakistan’s role in bringing stability in the region. He praised Pakistan and especially Gen Raheel Sharif for bringing all parties to peace talks between Afghanistan Government and Taliban. Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Ambassador Daniel F Feldman hoped that talks would resume soon bringing lasting peace in the region.
