US travel advisory admit Pakistan’s improved security situation: Asad

PHILADELPHIA (92 News) – Pakistani envoy in US Asad Majeed Khan says the update in US Travel Advisory admitted improved security situation in Pakistan on Sunday. Addressing a ceremony, the Pakistani ambassador said the UK, Canada and other countries reviewed their travel advisory for Pakistan as the government is providing opportune environment for promotion of tourism and investment. Asad Majeed also expressed his commitment that they will celebrate Kashmir Solidarity on February 5 in America. He also mentioned that the economic and security situation of the country has been stabilized. Commenting on the plight of people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), Asad Majeed said New Delhi has deprived the Kashmiris of basic amenities and urged the international community to play its role to stop brutalities in the region. He lauded the APPNA’s role in fostering bilateral ties between Washington and Islamabad. “Delighted to join the APPNA strategy meeting in Philadelphia last night. Thanked APPNA for their important charity and capacity building work in Pakistan and for being an important bridge btw Pakistan and US,” the Pakistani envoy said in his tweet.
