US$20b agreements to be signed during Saudi crown prince’s visit: Sanjrani

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has said that historic agreements worth US$20 billion will be signed during the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. Talking to the media after inaugurating a photography exhibition on the Pak-Saudi relations, he said that Saudi Arabia had supported Pakistan during each difficult time. “We welcome the new investment being made by Saudi Arabia in Pakistan. It is the first time that Saudi Arabia is going to invest in Pakistan at such a huge level,” he said. The Senate chairman said that Pak-Saudi relations are deeply rooted in the common faith and culture. “We will continue to work together for the benefit of the Muslim Ummah.” He also appreciated economic assistance extended by Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, saying that people of Pakistan are happy and optimistic on Saudi investment in Balochistan as it will create job opportunities. Saudi Arabia Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Al-Maliki, who was also present on the occasion, said that a number of memorandum of understanding (MoUs) will be signed during the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. The exhibition highlighted different development projects by Saudi Arabia in Pakistan.
