US$2.35 million collected from overseas Pakistanis for dam fund

LAHORE (92 News) – As many as 2.35 million US dollars were collected from overseas Pakistanis as well Pakistanis for the dam fund during 92 News’s 'Special Dam Fund Raising Transmission' that continued for three hours. From Barcelona, PTI workers collected 4,100 Euros, while a Pakistani woman donated 1,100 Euros to the dam fund. Pakistani taxi drivers donated 25,000 Euros to the fund. In total, an amount of 34,200 Euros was collected in Barcelona. From Britain, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Hashmi, the prayer leader of Shahjahan Mosque, and his friends donated Rs 10 million for the dam. Moreover, Pakistanis donated 26,000 pounds while talking to 92 News. From Paris, PTI leader announced to donate 10,000 Euros and a Pakistani gave 50,000 Euros to the dam fund. From Dublin, the PTI president announced to submit 100,000 Euros to the fund. From Frankfurt, citizens donated 3,000 pounds, while a taxi driver gave Rs 4,000 pounds from Bradford. From Paris, a citizen donated 10,000 pounds, while another citizen gave 50,000 pounds. From Washington, Pakistanis announced to donate 8,000 pounds to the dam fund.
