Usman and Sobia – an iconic power couple of cricket and showbiz

LAHORE (Imran Raj) - Usman Qadir, the son of legend spin master Abdul Qadir, is reckoning his place as a dependable star in national and international cricket leagues.

In the past couple of years, Usman has performed a significant role in winning games for Pakistan’s national cricket team by securing key wickets.

Usman is married to another dependable star of her own field versatile and talented Sobia Khan. Sobia is among leading artistes of film, drama, and television. But after tying the knot with Usman, she took a break from showbiz and focused on her family. She proved herself to be a pillar of strength for Usman. She accompanied Usman in Australia where he played a big bash organized by the Australian Cricket Board. She also gave a gift of a beautiful princess to Usman as the couple is proud parents of three beautiful baby girls.

With every passing year, both the stars are progressing in their fields as Usman is strengthening his place in cricket while Sobia is getting offers for hosting television programs besides acting offers.

Apparently Sobia is declining all the offers and just focusing on her family. She will be accompanying Usman Qadir during the PSL 8 where Usman is representing Peshawar Zalmi and getting attention for his unique celebration after taking a wicket.

Talking to the media representatives, Usman revealed that “AQ” with his fingers is a tribute to his late father and legendary leg-spinner Abdul Qadir.

According to social circles, Usman and Sobia are among the power couples of sports and showbiz industry like Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza, or even Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as these couples are stars of their respective fields.
