LAHORE (92 News) – Soon after the nomination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Usman Buzdar as candidate for Punjab Chief Minister slot, the shocking revelations put him in a difficult situation. As per report, PTI's nominee for the Punjab chief minister paid blood money to resolve the murder case against him. A background check revealed that the Usman Buzdar was accused of murder case. It was reported that a case of six murder was registered against the PTI candidate in 1998. The newly-elected PTI leader paid 'diyat' (blood money) worth Rs7.5 million to reach compromise with the victims’ heirs after a court found him and his companions guilty in January 2000. On other hand, It revealed that Sardar Buzdar is also facing corruption allegations for allegedly making 300 bogus appointments during his tenure as nazim, one of which is reportedly under investigation of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). – ASSETS OF USMAN BUZDAR – According to the nomination papers, Sardar Usman's asset details were released. The total amount of his assets mount up to Rs 25 million. He also owns 20 tolas gold along with furniture worth Rs 50,000. Furthermore, he owns three tractors and two cars worth Rs 2.4 million and Rs 3.6 million respectively. Usman also has three insurance policies and four bank accounts. Buzdar secured victory from PP-286 (Dera Ghazi Khan) constituency in general election 2018. On Friday, Prime minister Imran Khan in a video message announced Buzdar’s name for the post of chief minister of Punjab.
