Usman Buzdar thanks Sindh CM for 100,000 N-95 masks

LAHORE (29 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar telephoned his Sindh counterpart Murad Ali Shah on Thursday and thanked him for sending 100,00 N-95 masks donated by China. During the telephonic conversation, Usman Buzdar told him the Punjab government is thankful to you for the gesture. “In this time of need, everyone needs to help each other. Through a united front we can defeat the coronavirus,” he added. The Punjab chief minister also said that they will successfully defeat the pandemic with the help of the people. The two chief ministers agreed that this is the time for the country to work together. “Unity is more important than ever,” CM Murad maintained. On Wednesday, Sindh received 500,000 masks from the Jack Ma Foundation as the first part of a series of emergency supplies. Shah had said Sindh would keep 200,000 masks out of the 500,000 donated by China and will share the rest with other provinces. The Sindh CM had tweeted that the Sindh government will distribute these face masks to all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Islamabad. “These are difficult times and we can only succeed if we fight together for a #CoronaFreePakistan,” he wrote on Twitter.
