Vaccination of people aged 17 begins across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has officially begun administering the coronavirus vaccine to everyone aged 17 on Wednesday.

The NCOC has issued revised corona vaccination guidelines for people under the age of 18.

The limit for the general public group for vaccination has been reduced to 17 years. The Pfizer vaccine will be given to people under the age of 18.

The NCOC says people with low immunity will have to provide a medical certificate. B-Form will be required for people under 18 years of age. The number listed on the B-Form will be used for registration in the National Immunization Management System.

On the other hand, corona's booster dose has also begun. The price of booster dose is fixed at Rs. 1,270. Only those who go abroad will be able to get booster dose of coronavirus.

Pfizer vaccines will be given to people between the ages of 12 and 17 with low immunity.

Asad Omar says 35% of the country's population has yet to receive a single dose of the vaccine. The rate is 69% in Islamabad, 51% in Azad Kashmir and 39% in Gilgit-Baltistan. Punjab has 37 percent, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 35 percent, Sindh 32 percent and Balochistan 12 percent.
