ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday filed a reference against PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari, seeking his disqualification for acquiring vehicles from Toshakhana in violation of the law.

The PTI leaders submitted the reference to National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz.

Talking to media after filing the reference, Zulfi Bukhari said that Asif Zardari had purchased three vehicles from the Toshakhana. "According to the law, the vehicles received in gifts cannot be purchased. Even the prime minister has no power to allow this act," he maintained.

He said that former premier Yusuf Raza Gilani had approved the summary to benefit Asif Zardari. "Either Asif Zardari should be disqualified or he himself should resign," he added.

Zulfi Bukhari said that Imran Khan had taken all things from Toshakhana as per law. "Imran Khan paid 15-25 percent more price of the items taken from Toshakhana," he added.

Iftikhar Durrani said that an absconder has been made the finance minister. "People cannot heave the sigh of relief until the imposed people are in the power. They have been imposed on us by violating the constitution," he maintained.
